Ophav and Cultural Medallion awardee in 1981. Born in 1934 Ng Eng Teng is considered Singapore’s foremost sculptor, he was educated first at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, then went to the UK to study sculpture and ceramics at the North Staffordshire College of Technology and the Farnham School of Art. He donated his personal collection to NUS in 1997-1998 for further study in the setting of the University.
