The guitarist is caught in several poses, and in the language of Cubism, there is no observance of proper proportions and distance. He has created an intentional ambiguity by making the two front figures so much smaller thatn the huge one standing in between. The one in the top right hand corner is definitely behind the trio but on a different plane.
