[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]Among the ceramics in the teak sideboard cabinet, a few pieces are monogrammed ‘TBS’. They are from a dinner service made for Straits Chinese merchant and philanthropist Tan Beng Swee. The printed stamp ‘Daniell London’ on the underside indicates that the set was bought from retailer A.B. & R.P. Daniell, and the monogram ‘CBD’ that it was made by Coalport Porcelain Works.
