[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]SANCAI-ON-BISCUIT RUYI (SEPTER) in imitation of lacquered wood-carving; the gracefully curved shank carrying a rectangular plaque with canted corners, on the middle hump decorated with moulded square "leiwen" and ribbon scroll surrounding a cartouche with an imitation jade plaque in the centre, balanced at the curled-up high end by a large ruyi head with elaborately moulded design of two dragons contending a firy pearl, and at the lower end a smaller ruyi head decorated with moulded mountain amidst waves with clouds and a pair of bats (fu) hovering above; more moulding on top and sides of the flat shank, dominated by four seal-script characters. "Wan Shou Wu Jiang" (longevity unbounded); underside of the shank and ruyi heads left plain, but glazed brown to resemble wood; enamels of turquoise, green, blue, yellow, aubergine, red and brown.
