[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]STONE CARVING in the form of a hexagonal dish supported on six ruyi-headed feet, the centre of the dish occupied by a recumbent deer curled to fit in the dish with its head bent to bite its right hind-leg; above and below the beast cloud motifs fill the void; the piece appears originally to have been painted with green, red and gold; much of the leaf patterns on the exterior still discernible and the green & gilt much in evidence; some details on the animal are blurred.
