[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]Fei Danxu specialised in figure painting, especially in the genre of beautiful women. A lone figure with a wide hat and flowing robe is presented in profile. He is looking thoughtfully at the plum blossoms in a snowy landscape. The figural depiction in this work shows a stylistic connection to the portraits done by Luo Pin (1833 - 99). Although there is a dedicatory inscription in this painting, we do not know if the figure is meant to be a portrait.
