[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]“Wild Rover (Imaginary Portrait: Back to Nature Idea) c. 1970, is the last known engagement with the self. The image of the self as a corporeally and psychologically distinctive entity has disappeared; it is replaced by generalised, curved shapes which rise upwards in the formation of a mountain landscape. The self as an autonomous being is erased; it is presented as transformed, absorbed into assuming an unnamed changing formation.” (Bodies & Figures, An Overview of Ng Eng Teng, Page 10).
