TítuloSadlo (woman's wrap, worn over choli, "blouse", and petticoat in manner of sari) - C
DescripciónDyeing starts with the lightest colour, usually white, followed by yellow, green, then red. Sometimes, at the end of the dyeing process, spots reserved in white or yellow are untied and darker colours, such as blue, are applied with a brush or by dip dyeing. The finished cloths are sold with their ties still intact to show that they are genuine bandhani and not printed imitations.
Bandhani is an Indian tie-dye technique, sometimes called ‘chunari’ in Gujarat.
