A number of artists had dealt with the Bukit Ho Swee fire as a theme in their work. Lim’s 1966 woodcut of the fire is a particularly large piece detailing a devastated and the desolated landscape in the aftermath of the blaze.A panoramic view of a Malay kampong showing a vast expanse of farmland, a cluster of coconut trees, two attap houses and two figures in the foreground.
