DescriptionNg Eng Teng (1934 – 2001) is recognised as one of Singapore’s most prolific modern sculptors. The largest collection of his sculptures, paintings and sketches are held at the NUS Museum, National University of Singapore. When shifting his attention away from expressions of physical and physiological stress, Ng’s sculptural works display a state of playfulness such as Ooophs! wherein the torso is interchangeably constituted in the form of a face.
