TitleTurban cloth known as leheria ('waves' in Hindi)
DescriptionThis turban cloth features a mulit-coloured, chequered pattern produced by rolling fabric diagonally and wrapping rubber bands of similar dye-resistant material at intervals. Opposing stripes are achieved by untying and rolling up the cloth from the next corner. In this way, a chequered pattern of intersecting daigonals results.
