TitleSquare head scarf - C
DescriptionCambodian tie-dyes are made today of artificial silk and gaudy synthetic dyes. They are patterned solely by the tritik (stitch-resist) technique. This example still retains the raised and pinched appearance of a new article before it has been smoothened by washing and ironing. It features a central circle filled with a rosette of nine dots and surrounded by four floral and four triangular motifs. The corners are decorated with filled quadrants and the cloth is edged with zigzags.Head scarf, tie-dye on synthentic silk
